What goes on at Beavers

Beavers are the youngest section in our group—and they’re full of energy, curiosity, and excitement! At this age, it’s all about having fun, learning new things, and building friendships in a safe, welcoming space.

Weekly Activities

Each week, our Beavers take part in a range of hands-on activities, such as:

• Creative crafts and simple science experiments
• Group games and teamwork challenges
• Storytelling, roleplay, and imaginative tasks
• Basic outdoor skills (e.g., setting up tents or making s’mores!)

We follow a balanced programme that helps Beavers explore the world around them while developing confidence and independence.

Learning and Badges

Beavers work towards fun, age-appropriate badges. These cover all sorts of areas—outdoors, healthy living, community, creativity and more. We celebrate every badge earned, helping each Beaver feel proud of their achievements.

Outdoor Adventures

Even at this young age, Beavers love the great outdoors! Whether it’s a nature trail, picnic in the park, or a one-night indoor sleepover, we start building their sense of adventure early—always with the right level of supervision and support.
