Local PCSO Visits Chilton Cubs & Beavers
Recently, our Cubs and Beavers had a fantastic visit from local PCSO Dave Evans. It was a brilliant opportunity for the young people to learn more about his role and how the police help keep our community safe.
During the evening, Dave told us all about what he does day to day, the different situations he helps with, and the importance of making good choices. The young people were full of curiosity and asked lots of great questions, showing a real interest in the work he does and how they can stay safe both at home and out in the community.
One of the highlights was getting a look around the police van 🚓, where everyone was able to see the equipment inside and learn how it’s used. The excitement didn’t stop there, as some of the Beavers and Cubs even got the chance to try on police gear, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter.
It was a really engaging and memorable visit, and we’d like to say a big thank you to Dave for taking the time to join us. Experiences like this help build confidence, awareness, and positive relationships within the community, and we hope to welcome him back again in the future.
